Love Lashes

I love lashes because having small Asian eyes, they make your eyes look bigger and give it more definition. A friend of mine gave these to me and I'm so excited to take them for a spin for the next occasion.

These lashes on the right will definitely bring out the drag queen in me. Hahahaha!

These ones are more for everyday because they look super natural

I heard once in an interview with Jeannie Mai that lashes were the most important element of make up. She said that even when she was a little girl, she loved that the only way you could tell Mickey and Minnie Mouse apart was through Minnie's eye lashes.

Skin Care

So I've been asked a lot about what products I use for my face and how I manage to keep it from blemishes and stuff. 

Here are some of the scrubs, creams and potions I use everyday. 

I honestly can't really tell anyone what to use or what works best because skin differs from person to person. What works for me might nor necessarily be the best choices for others. 

I for one am pretty lucky to have super low maintenance skin. The only thing that I would complain about is that my face gets really oily, fast. But oil isn't exactly a bad thing, it actually keeps skin from drying out and keeps faces wrinkle free longer than skin that doesn't produce much oil so for those self conscious women out there, think of the long term benefits. 

For as long as I remember, I never really needed anything or I never really used anything out of the ordinary to get it the way that it is now. I don't break out, I only get pimples one at a time and very seldom so acne and scarring was never a problem for me. I also remember trying loads of different products on my skin. Everything I'd see, I'd buy. I probably have tried every single facial scrub in the market just for fun. I only started using face masks and putting on moisturizers last year because I never really saw the need. But now that I know moisturizing is uber important, that would be the only thing I can really suggest that you guys learn to do. So there, my skin is really abnormally resilient so my ways aren't advisable.

Pastel Fairy: Green Nails

My nail polish color makes me feel fruity. LOL. It's so pretty and pastel, almost like candy. In love with this shade of green.

Shades of Purple

Had dinner last night with the fambam and my Uncles from San Francisco. Loved the stories about cruise ships, and Europe! Found the time to put make up on so I mixed it up a bit by using shades of purple and going out of my comfort zone by pulling my hair back.

Look who's getting in the Holiday spirit

Red

I've been wanting to color my hair for the longest time now. I couldn't decide between the colors Burgundy (red-ish), Auburn (orange-ish), light brown and jet black. At one point in my life, I've tried all these colors on me. None on them looked horrible so it was a tough decision, I mean I will have to live with it for about 3 months before I can color over it.

I ended up just randomly choosing a box of dye from the drug store, ended up getting Mahogany. The color is similar to Burgundy so my hair is now red and I can say I'm pretty happy with the result.

I have a tendency to buy dye and color my hair myself but this time I didn't settle for my amateur and uneven dye jobs to save some money. So there, went to the salon last Tuesday and this is what came out of it. :)

Just sharing. HAHA.
