I Love Dogs

Would you like to know what happened to me tonight? Well I'll tell you either way. I literally just got home from Alabang Medical Center right now at 11:47pm. 

Why? Well it all started yesterday. We received a text message from my little sister's teacher saying they thought they saw my dog Happy get hit by a car. When I read it Happy was literally in my arms so I knew it was a mistake. 

Later that day a security guard rung our door bell checking to see if we had lost our dog. Again, Happy was literally in bed with me. hahaha. 

So the next day, my little sister comes home from school and she tells me that this dog was staying in her school, injured and hasn't eaten all day. Immediately I knew I had to do something about it. I seriously felt like I wouldn't get any sleep that night until I knew for sure the dog was fine.

We packed up some dog food at around 8:00 pm tonight and marched over to the school to feed the starving pup. It was pretty sweet, first couple of times I pet it it was fine but suddenly she snapped and bit my hand. It didn't hurt at all, but then I noticed a tiny red dot, as small as a mosquito bite on my hand. It started to bleed and I started sweating buckets. Went directly home and my dad rushed me to AMC to get the shots I needed in case the dog was rabid. 

First shot went in my left arm, second when in my right. Then they told me the last shot needed a skin test to determine if I were allergic to the drug. Ask any nurse out there, skin tests are freakin' painful. They pierced the needle through the skin on my left fore arm near my hand. 

I literally started tearing up and begging the guy to stop. Hahaha! I have very low tolerance for pain btw so it was hell. If after 30 minutes I had no bad reaction to it they'd go ahead and give me the shot. 

After 30 minutes, I felt fine but then they noticed a little redness so they told me they had to do it again on my other fore arm. Oh what joy. This time I didn't cry but I did say ouch like a million times while the guy was poking me.

Another 30 minutes pass and they go ahead and give me the final tetanus shot. I swear, it was a good thing the nurse was a sweetheart or I prolly would have gone crazy. I feel like I want to buy him a big ass cake or something. hahaha. 

And that is how my night went, all in a matter of 3 hours. I still can't believe it all happened but I'm glad its over.. for now. Have to go back every week for follow up shots. 3 down, 4 more to go!

The New Glorietta Vibe Fashion Show: BTS

The New Glorietta Vibe Fashion Show Fitting

So last Saturday, my cousin Nicole and I went to Glorietta to have ourselves fitted by the brands we were assigned to. Nicole hit the jackpot I think by being assigned to The Ramp. We pretty much squealed like children when we found out she gets to pick what she'll be wearing to the fashion show on Thursday. Haha!

Here she is beside the rack of clothes we got to choose from and my reflection in the background being all proud momma like. Hahaha

On our way to my store assignment, we came across these kitties being given up for adoption. Tempting!

So yes, I was assigned to the shoe brand Melissa. I was familiar with it but I never really got to look at their products much because I'm allergic to really high prices. Hihi.

I tried on a lot of styles and colors and I was so absolutely torn. They were all gorgeous and so unbelievably comfy!

Aside from choosing something flattering and more my style, I also had to think about what would be the easiest shoe to pair clothes with because apparently we have to provide our own clothes. 

I was pretty bummed about it but I wont let it stop me from being part of this record breaking event!

The New Glorietta Vibe

Halloween 2012

I'm not really sure what day the real Halloween is but I hope everyone have a spooky one! This is what I went as for a Halloween party I went to last Saturday. 

I was dresses as Elena Gilbert(Black pants, heeled boots and faux leather jacket) though so it was weird. Kinda changed my mind as to what I'd go as the last minute. Hahaha!

Would you like to hear me rant?

You're probably wondering why I'm not on a plane this very moment on my way to the United States. 

Nothing has really been working out for me lately. Forces kept pulling me back and situations change over time. Long story short, family members decided to take it upon them selves to deem San Francisco as an unsafe place for a first time traveler on her own. 

Tried my best to find companions but all of them ended up cancelling as well. Yes I'm bummed, cried for a solid 4 hours when I was told I couldn't go unless I found a friend who'd go with me. But hey, It's not the end of the world. 

What I really hate about it is the fact that I really need to find a job. Kill me now. Sorry for the rant! This has no place on my blog but what the hell. 

This explanation should suffice for everyone who has been asking when I'd be leaving. Till next time, land of the free. </3

Nearsighted

Haven't posted anything in a while! Been preoccupied with taking care of my dengue infected boyfriend. :( Word of advice, invest in mosquito replants. I'm not the one who got dengue but witnessing someone who has was already traumatizing enough, so what more if you actually catch it. 

Anyhoo, I just wanted to share what I got over the weekend. I've been having really bad dizzy spells lately and I figured that maybe my blurry vision was the culprit. I got my eyes checked and got prescription glasses which improved my eye sight for sure but I feel like it's making my dizzy spells worse. Hopefully its nothing serious, but in the mean time check out the glasses I got. I was leaning towards RayBan frames but I found this pair from Levi's which is pretty similar in look and price but was on sale that day. Saved about 2,000 Php and spent roughly 8,000 Php all in all. Getting my geek/hipster on! Hahahaha

Graduation

It's official, I'm no longer a student and am now unemployed. Just a few random photos from the ceremony in PICC and the graduation dinner we had at Tony Roma's.
